Funded in part by the Mid-Michigan WIRED region, the report outlines how the employment structure will shift within the industry. By 2016, domestic producers of automobiles will drop employment by about 38,000 workers. At the same time foreign automakers are expected to increase their operations and add about 38,600 workers.
