Community College Curriculum Development Created 5/6/08 by Chris Reed In forum Sharing Innovative Curriculums Not tagged. |
WAEM Region leaders are looking for best practices for the development of E'ship curriculum for community colleges.
We want to find best practices of "traditional approaches" such as curriculum designed specifically for "for-credit" courses and degrees with articulation to 4 year institutions.
But also, look for best practices of other innovative approaches to E'ship education and training. Are there any community colleges that offer a "continuum" of education for Entrepreneurs? For-credit, not-for-credit, modular, with varied avenues of delivery/access (evening classes, on-line, etc.)?
What about integrating e'ship directly into the classroom for technical training? For instance, maybe welding or cosmotology classes that discuss and offer some basic e'ship prep. Not as an add on class, but actually integrated into class room discussion and class curriculum?
If anyone has any ideas or examples, please help us find them.
Thanks. |
