Alliance for Innovation in Manufacturing-KC (AIM-KC)

Paul Scianna is Executive Director of the Alliance for Innovation in Manufacturing-KC (AIM-KC), which served as the pilot for the National Association of Manufacturers' Dream It. Do It. careers campaign.  He also is the Project Director for the OneKC WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) Initiative - a comprehensive approach to regional workforce and economic development.  One KC WIRED, which is being funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, also is leveraging funds and resources from a variety of entities - both private and public.

Paul previously served as senior vice president of Corporate and Public Affairs with Fleishman-Hillard, and was manager of Internal Corporate Communications at Sprint.

He has been a political consultant to former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft (during his term in the U.S. Senate) and to former U.S. Senator Jim Talent.  He also has directed public affairs activities at both the state and national levels, and he continues to maintain a bipartisan network of grassroots, business, civic, and government leaders.

Prior to his work in public affairs, Paul was president and owner of a 40-year-old Kansas City-based independent insurance agency, and he has held various sales and marketing positions in the pharmaceutical and medical services industries.

Paul is a Cum Laude Honors College graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both journalism and political science.  He and his wife, Paige, live in Kansas City, and they have three grown children.
