MyBiz.am

MyBiz.am is a comprehensive approach to connecting entrepreneurs, communities and service providers into a system of support for seeding and growing entrepreneurs in Alabama and Mississippi.  Developed by the West Alabama/East Mississippi WIRED region, the MyBiz.am web site provides a gateway to a blend of virtual services and resources for entrepreneurs.

The site’s Resource Navigator Database’s query function allows entrepreneurs, by answering a few simple questions, to generate a customized, distance prioritized, report of resource partners that potentially can meet their immediate needs in starting up and/or growing their business.

The ultimate goal of the website is to help entrepreneurs become informed and better educated, improve efficiency, reduce wasted time, energy and frustration and achieve success in starting up and building their enterprise. 

To ensure the site’s success, eight community college partners are working with each of the 159 communities in the region to establish community connection to ensure entrepreneurs have location to access MyBiz.am.  Additionally, they are distributing "Start-It Cards" that advise entrepreneurs about MyBiz.am and local services related to business start-ups.
