Welcome to WIRED Nation

This web site provides you information on what WIRED regions are doing. What makes the this site different from other sites is that content can be created by any member of of the our Knowledge Community not just the WIRED staff in Washington.

Wired Nation includes a number of simple, yet powerful features to help us collaborate across regions.

Once you have joined this site, you can create new articles and edit the content of every article on this site just by clicking the Edit this page link on that page. The content on this site is viewable by everyone in the world-- it is not limited to Wired Nationmembers.

We will be using Wired Nation to keep track of some of the most significant developments in WIRED.

Keep up with the latest news here. Use this section to post news from your region to share with others. Post news releases, events, links to new reports you have published or come across...anything that you think would be helpful to someone else. If you want help in posting, look at this video.

Knowledge Bank

Gain insights here. We are organizing our lessons and insights into a "Knowledge Bank". Our bank continuously evolves, but start here to begin learning about innovations in workforce and economic development. The "table of contents" of our knowledge bank provides a good roadmap of these innovations. Like "Wikipedia", the content of our Knowledge Bank continuously evolves. If you want help in posting, look at this video.

Regions

Get regional profiles here. Across the country, 39 regions are experimenting with innovations to integrated workforce and economic development more tightly. Learn more about these regions in this section. If you want help in adding information to the Regional Section, look at this video.

Wired Nation Library

Find useful files here. Over the course of our work. we have come across a number of useful reports and documents that can be helpful to other regions. We are saving these documents here. If you want help in adding a file to the Library, look at this video.

Forums

At our next Wired Academy, Wired Nation will be launching Forums, a discussion area where we can focus on specific issues of concern to innovating regions across the country.

Learn about other members here. Also, learn how to join the Wired Nation here. The best teachers are other people who are engaged in the same way you are. Wired Nation makes it easy for you to connect with other professionals. .

Events

Here are events that are taking place across the WIRED regions. These events include meetings within a region as well as the meetings are taking place across regions. In addition, we list here some of the more important events that are taking place in economic adult and workforce development across the country.
