Susan Lange is the Vice
President of the Youth Pathways division at Commonwealth Corporation. For the
last ten years, Susan was the Deputy Director of Youth Opportunity (YO) Boston,
a workforce development program for adjudicated youth. While there, she
developed YO's Transitional Employment Program which was recognized as a Best
Practices model by the US Department of Labor.
Susan has more than 20
years experience as a teacher, curriculum developer, and program administrator
in programs that provide services to disconnected youth. Susan is a member of
the National Transitional Jobs Network, the Communities Connecting Resources
for Youth (CCRY) Network under the Center for Law and Social Policy and was a
member of Boston Mayor Menino's Strategic Crime Council.
She holds a Master's degree in Education from UMass at Boston.
